The Good Dinosaur – Family Movie Night April 14th
The School Council will host a Family Movie Night showing the movie — The Good Dinosaur (2015). Bring your blanket, your pillow and enjoy a good time together with friends and family! I will be attending with my son, so I’ll see you there!

5:30 pm – 8 pm, Movie starts at 6:00 pm

There is a School Council Meeting on April 11th at 6:30pm in the library. Come on out and hear about the incredible things we are doing here at WEJ.

There is a Cake Walk Fundraiser on May 6th and a BBQ Social on June 15th – Stay tuned for more information.
Thursday February 11th is Red, White and Pink day. Don’t forget to send in any Valentine’s Day Cards your child has for the class. Class lists of names went home on Monday.

Next Wednesday February 17th is an Outdoor Winter Play Day – dress warm!

There will be a Remembrance Day Assembly Wednesday morning (time to be announced). Parents are welcome!

Photo Retake Day is Thursday November 12th.

Terry Fox is an important person in Canadian History. His Marathon of Hope has raised over $600 million for Cancer Research. Once again, the staff and students of W. Erskine Johnston P.S. will participate in the Terry Fox School Run on Wednesday, September 30 from 3 pm – 3:30 pm. The students will be running on a circuit around the school grounds. School Photo Day
On Thursday, October 15th, a photographer from Earl Havlin Photography will be taking individual and class photos of all our students and classes. You are under no obligation to purchase the pictures. This year, on the same day after school, a family photo evening will also be provided beginning at 4:30 p.m.
